hey guys welcome back to another video
my name is Tom from Spartan Home Fitness
I help people get fit,
get healthy, and expand their minds.
So, in this video I’m going to show you
an awesome awesome
protein smoothie recipe called “the
spartan
banana berry blast”. So I recommend using
this smoothie recipe
after a workout as it is heavier on the
fruit content
which will eventually break down into
fructose which is a sugar
so, you best want to spike insulin after
a workout especially a resistance
workout.
So what we’re going to need is vanilla
protein powder,
I have oats here, bananas
and mixed berries. I’m also going to
add a secret ingredient which is going
to be a handful of spinach
because you know i’m Greek and
spinach Spanakopita and you know we got
Spartan berry blast
It all makes sense. Okay so we’re going
to start off with about a cup and a half
or so around a quarter of a liter of
water, we’re gonna add about one scoop of
vanilla whey protein powder
averaging out to around 25 grams of
protein,
we’re going to add about a half a cup of
oats giving you those slow digesting
complex carbs and fiber,
we’re going to add a half a cup of mixed
Berries, and
we’re going to add one full banana after
those
frozen berries which will make it an icy
smoothie.

add some spinach to make this
smoothie greek and give it that spartan
flair,
bam! Alright so let’s blend this berry
goodness up.

Let’s get her in a glass ! Alright guys this
smoothie recipe comes out to
31 grams of protein , 69 grams of
carbohydrates,
and 4 grams of fat giving it a total of
415 calories.
