This past year was TOUGH. And while we’re gradually making our way back to “normal,” the ramifications of this past year are most likely still touching many of us. From job loss, to developing or deepening depression and anxiety, we are far from finished facing the fallout of our COVID year. So for those still in lockdown, or those having a tough time acclimating to the “new normal” – this video is for you.

Honestly, my intentions were to release this video last year, but I have admitted, even I struggled through this COVID year, and am happy to be living proof that following the tips in the video can bring you out of a dark space and into the light of a new day.

It requires putting yourself first: valuing your routine, grounding in gratitude, and making time to move your body.

Fitness and in this video I’m going to
share with you 3 ways to thrive
through quarantine that’s helped me so
much and the people that I love so much
so let’s get into it!
Number one change your routine. A lot of
us are used to going to the same places
day-in day-out going to the same jobs and
this new normal could be a shock to some
of us especially those who have lost
their jobs and people who are used to
binge watching Netflix all day
or even going to sleep at random times
going to bed and waking up the same time
each day and night will help train your
circadian rhythm to fall into a better
pattern for you tap into your inner
child think of the things that you loved
as a kid that what you want fire made
you happy
maybe there’s hobbies that you love that
you generally didn’t have time for
before but now you have all the time in
the world for the world is your oyster
my friends. Number two ground in gratitude.
Gratitude is one of the highest emotions
that we can feel according to a Harvard
Medical School study in positive
psychology research gratitude is
associated with greater happiness this
study found gratitude helps people feel
more positive emotions and actually
improve their health and immune system
which is so important right now here at
Spartan home fitness we recommend
writing down the things that you’re
grateful for daily or maybe just
reiterating it to yourselves
maybe you’re healthy maybe your family’s
healthy maybe you have a job and you’re
still making an income or you have all
the time in the world to do the things
that you love gratitude is a strong
powerful emotion that could fight the
lower emotions of fear and anxiety that
is completely encompassing the world
you have the power to take your power
back my friends. Number three move your
body you don’t have to lift weights or
do cardio to get your exercise in for
the day or feel good you can ride a bike
maybe play a sport that you like or take
a walk in nature there was a study done
by Harvard Medical School of over a
thousand men and women who exercised 20
minutes a day five days a week and they
have 43% fewer sick days and those who
only exercised one day a week alright
guys so that is three ways that you
could thrive during this quarantine that
has helped me so much and helped me grow
helped those that I love around me and
you have the power to take control back
